Barça Foundation heads back to Croatia for Special Power League match

The Fundació Barça is heading to Croatia from March 27 to 31 for a special international experience hosted by the Health Life Academy, an organization dedicated to promoting physical activity for individuals with disabilities.

This isn't the first time the Barça team has visited Croatia at the invitation of this group. Last year, they participated in the Special Power League, an international 6-a-side football tournament played on an artificial turf field at the Valbruna stadium in Rovinj, which has the dimensions of an indoor soccer field.

The Barça group will consist of 4 players and 10 staff members, including standout player Manel Solà, who has successfully recovered from a serious knee injury. The coaching team from the Barça Genuine Foundation includes a coach, a trainer, and a psychologist.

The Special Power League is scheduled for Friday, March 29 and will feature teams such as Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia), Hajduk Split (Croatia), Lokomotiv Zagreb (Croatia), Rijeka (Croatia), Slaven Belupo (Croatia), Sloga Čakovec (Croatia), Dubrovnik (Croatia), Istra 1961 (Croatia), Munich 1860 (Germany), Mungosi (Serbia), ASKO Wolfnitz (Austria), Rapid Wiena (Austria), ASKO Wolfsberg (Austria), and Spillerpass (Austria).

Contributing to this inclusive football initiative are the Croatian Football and Handball Federations (HNS), the Mateo Kovacic Foundation, the ATI travel company, the city of Rovinj, the Istrian Sports Academy, and the Rovinj Handball Club.
