Internet Adores Dog 'Hyped' to Go on Same Walk He Does 3 Times Per Day

The internet is obsessed with the enthusiasm that one dog and his owner have to go on their daily walk, even though it is the exact same route that they take three times a day.

The pair were spotted showing off their mutual excitement in a viral video that has been viewed more than 2.7 million times since it was first shared to TikTok on March 1. "My dog and I hyped to go on the same walk we do everyday three times a day," the golden retriever's owner said.

Viewers watched the pair jumping up and down with excitement ahead of their walk, as an upbeat dance remix of La Roux's 2009 hit "Bulletproof" played over the clip. The post has been captioned: "My dog is excited every single time."

The dog, who's name is Duke, is a golden retriever puppy living in Charleston, South Carolina, with his owner Zarah Kelleher. She has over 350,000 followers on the TikTok account that she created to house his daily antics, @dukethatgolden.

What Do the Comments Say?

Since it had been shared to the social-media platform on March 1 by @dukethatgolden, the TikTok post has been liked by over 309,000 users and commented on more than 300 times in a matter of days. Those viewers with pets have been sharing how much they relate to Kelleher in the comments section of the post.

"Walk my dog 5 times a day. A short one in the morning, an hour walk for lunch, a slower one after dinner, then a play walk THEN a slow slow walk," one user wrote.

"When my dog did this same thing and ripped open my North Face," another added.

A third user posted: "Do some different routes to make it more enriching for him! Way more effective for tiring them out as well because it's mental stimulation."

"This is so awesome! I tried the same thing with my Great Dane but got knocked over," a different TikTok user wrote.

Another added: "Thought I was the only one till I saw this."

"If I did this with my dog before walks I'd lose my arm. I have to tire her out with fetch firs," shared a different user.
