The search for a missing 21-year-old college student in Texas has intensified as his family continues to speak out about his disappearance.

Caleb Harris, 21, was last seen on March 4 near his apartment complex in the 1900 block of Ennis Joslin Road, near the campus of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, where he is a second-year student, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department and ABC affiliate KIII-TV.

Harris hasn't been seen since just before 3 a.m. local time outside his apartment complex, The Cottages, on North Padre Island, NBC affiliate WOAI reported.

The search has reportedly expanded to the east and south parts of North Padre, including spots behind the apartment complex.

Authorities have said Harris left behind his keys, wallet and car, per the station. He had his phone on him, but it had been turned off, according to WOAI.

His family told Fox News that they got "different Snapchats" from Harris until about 2:45 a.m., but then he decided to take him and his roommate's dog out for a walk.

Then, just before 3 a.m., he went outside to pick up his Uber Eats order after leaving his dog inside the apartment. His order was marked as completed, his dad Randy told Fox News Digital, but the 21-year-old "vanished."

Randy noted that WOAI investigators looked into the Uber Eats driver but determined she wasn't involved.

Uber told PEOPLE that Caleb’s order was completed without any reported incident and that the delivery person continued to make additional deliveries that morning. They also noted that they've reached out to law enforcement to offer assistance, and are deferring to them for any additional details about the investigation.

"There's no evidence of wrongdoing, but there's no evidence at all," his dad told Fox News. "And so it's a matter of looking at every inch, everything we could possibly think of."

"It is a mystery," he added.

A Texas A&M Corpus Christi representative told PEOPLE, "On Thursday, March 7, the Island University held a gathering in the university’s Hector P. Garcia Plaza to support Caleb’s family, friends and classmates."

The school also noted, "Caleb is a freshman environmental science major. His permanent address is listed as New Braunfels, Texas."
