Siloam Springs prepares town hall for annexation plans

SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Siloam Springs prepares to introduce an annexation ordinance ahead of a communitywide referendum set for the general election in November 2024.

Accoding to a press release, the city will host an interactive town hall on April 11 from 4:30-7:30 p.m. in City Hall’s board room.

The release says the event is designed as a come-and go open house.

The city says staff will answer questions and collect feedback from attendees.

According to the release, the proposed annexation map is under discussion. It covers around 1785 acres and includes 144 address points. The details of the map can be found here.

Residents can also submit questions and provide feedback on the proposal through an online form here.
