NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Gallatin woman has been arrested in connection with a deadly shooting in Madison from January 2023.

On Wednesday, March 13, Metro police said 27-year-old Stefanie Hernandez was arrested for the death of 48-year-old Timothy Fetter. She was taken into custody at a Nashville home improvement store where she worked.

On Jan. 11, 2023, officers responded to the 600 block of East Old Hickory Boulevard at around 6 p.m. to investigate a shooting with critical injury. Once on scene, they found Fetter outside his red Pontiac GTO. Fetter was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds after police said someone in a light-colored sedan fired several shots at him.

Investigators said Fetter died from his injuries at Skyline Medical Center.

Further investigation revealed Hernandez was present when Fetter was shot. She has been charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bond.

Police said they expect one more arrest in this case and suspect road rage was a likely motive.
