A search and rescue mission is underway Monday evening at Creve Coeur Lake after a boat capsized, sending people into the water.

The family of a Hermann police officer nearly killed in a shooting last year is thanking everyone who helped save his life.  On Saturday at Hermann High School, the parents of Adam Sullentrup presented handmade quilts to more than 30 first responders who were called on the night of March 12th, 2023.

Police are investigating a break-in at a liquor store in north St. Louis. One of the owners of BW Liquor and Food Mart on West Florissant Avenue tells FOX 2 that the break-in happened around 3:30 a.m. She believes it's the same people that broke into her store several months ago.

The Office of the Illinois State Fire Marshal awards $4 million in grants to fire departments across the state, including in the Metro East. The grants allow departments to purchase small firefighting and ambulance equipment. The office received more than four hundred applications.

If you get a call from someone who says they are an Illinois state police investigator, hang up. It's a scam. Police say someone pretending to be an ISP investigator is calling people and telling them their identity has been stolen.
