64-Year-Old Buena Park Man Killed in Multi-Vehicle Accident near South Street

CERRITOS, CA (September 30, 2022) – 64-year-old Michael Saida lost his life Tuesday morning after a armored truck crash on 605 Freeway.

The incident happened around 8:45 a.m. near South Street on September 27th, per Cerritos Officials.

According to reports, the main events leading to the collision remain unknown, although officials said that an armored truck was involved.

Paramedics arrived and pronounced one person dead at the scene. Police later identified the victim as 64-year-old Saida of Buena Park.

Moreover, the crash temporarily blocked three southbound lanes of the freeway, as crews cleared the area of the crash.

At this time, Cerritos officials are investigating the fatal crash and will release further updates as soon as they become available.
