Emi Yusa, The Devil is a Part-Timer

Emi Yusa is an extremely powerful angel. Despite being half human and half angel, she was strong enough to drive the Demon King away from Ente Isla. Following him into modern-day Japan, they are forced to work to survive. Her deep hatred for Maou stemmed from his demon army being responsible for her father’s death. However, after spending time with him, she discovered he wasn’t as bad as she thought, which made her angry.

Gabriel White Tenma, often called Gab, is the main protagonist in Gabriel Drop Out. At the start of the series, Gab embodied everything good about the word angel. She was at the top of her class in angel school, with a perfect and humble personality. However, everything changes when she is asked to go to Earth to guide humans. Gab discovers video games and sinks into a life of depravity, forsaking her heavenly mission. Despite being an angel, Gab would resort to lies and trickery to keep her comfy lifestyle safe.

Kaede Tachibana, Angel Beats

Kaede Tachibana is the student council president of the Afterlife school. Her angelic appearance, strength, and personality earned her the title Angel. Kaede is powerful and is called perfect by most people, which leads the Afterlife Battle Front to believe she is an Angel from God. Despite her emotionless appearance, she is highly dedicated to carrying on her mission of helping every student adjust. After spending time with Otonashi, Kaede starts to change, showing more emotion and even falling in love.

Whis, Dragon Ball Super

Whis is more than your typical run-of-the-mill angel. He is a guide angel for Universe 7’s God of Destruction, Beerus, and his martial arts teacher. Despite his calm and aloof personality, Whis is extremely tough, often yelling at Beerus when he oversteps. While he does lack the usual mannerisms you would expect from an attendant, he makes up for it with his knowledge and skills.

Mahiiru Shina, The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten

Despite not being a celestial being like every other person on the list, Mahiiru embodies everything good about Angel. She is extremely beautiful, intelligent, and athletic, earning her the title “Angel “in her school. However, her life is anything but perfect; after her parents cast her aside, she works hard to earn their approval. The good grades and skills were all to get her parents to notice her, but it didn’t work, as her mother called her a mistake. However, Mahiiru starts to change when she meets Amane, someone who values her for the wonderful person she is.
