March 8 is International Women’s Day, and that’s a big deal throughout the world. It’s as big as Mother’s Day in the United States. And we know how big that is.

But while women in the United States may not get flowers and candy on International Women’s Day as many do around the globe, the entire month of March has become a time to celebrate the achievements of women in this country.
