Mar. 28—Looking for something to do with your family this weekend? Check out these activities around the Valley:

1. Encourage a child's love of angling with the Mentored Youth Trout Day on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Anglers 15 years old and younger are able to get a Mentored Youth Permit or a Voluntary Youth Fishing License from the Pa. Fish and Boat Commission to fish in stocked trout waters. They must be accompanied by a licensed adult to participate. With their permit or license, youth can take a total of two trout with a minimum length of 7 inches, but adult anglers are prohibited from possessing trout. 2. Cornerstone United Pentecostal Church, 701 N. High St., Selinsgrove, is hosting a community Easter egg scavenger hunt on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. There will be a walking route or a driving route for attendees to choose from, as well as door prizes, free food and kids Easter party, candy toss and more. Registration is from 10 to 10:30, instructions will be delivered from then to 10:45 and the hunt runs from 10:45 to 11:30. Learn more at cornerstoneupc.org

3. Travel around the globe with the Lewisburg Children's Museum and Bucknell University's Foreign Language Teaching Assistants at Passport to the World. The museum, 815 Market St., Lewisburg, will host a day of cultural exploration from 10 a.m. to noon with crafts and activities around different countries. The program is included with general admission or membership, so tickets for non-members are $9 and free for children younger than 2. More information is available at lewisburgchildrensmuseum.org.

4. Hop to The Campus Theatre, 413 Market St., Lewisburg, at 1 p.m. Saturday for a family film. The theater will be showing "Peter Rabbit," a 2018 adaption of Beatrix Potter's tale of mischievous bunny as he feuds with Farmer McGregor. Tickets for the film are just $5. 5. Prepare for the coming solar eclipse with help from R.B. Winter State Park, 17215 Buffalo Road, Mifflinburg, on Saturday from 1 to 2 p.m. The park educator will teach attendees about the history of eclipses, what they are, how to safely view them and what to expect.
