Units of the 19th separate mechanized brigade may be transferred to the border with Lithuania as part of a combat readiness check. They will be in the Pastavy region near the village of Padaliany for about a month (about 16 km from the Lithuanian border).

Earlier it became known that units of the 1st separate mechanized and 4th separate tank battalion of the 19th mechanized brigade arrived in the Ashmiany district, also near the border with Lithuania. The military equipped places for living, placed and camouflaged equipment, and organized security, including checkpoints.

The place of permanent deployment of the mentioned brigade is the Lepel district of the Vitsebsk region.

The Belarusian Ministry of Defense announced the mobilization of 3 thousand reservists. Some of them ended up in the 19th brigade. According to the Lepel regional newspaper, in total, more than 200 military personnel and 40 pieces of equipment will take part in the exercises.
