Skyworks is Qorvo’s major competitor in supplying RF chips for Apple iPhones. The company also makes chips for aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial devices. Most of its chips are switches, amplifiers, and RF components. Skyworks’ largest manufacturing facility is in Mexico, but it does some manufacturing at locations in the US, including a 158,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Massachusetts and a 185,000-square-foot place in Newbury Park, CA.
