ALTHOUGH a lot of people will be off work over Easter, some will still be working and many will be relying on public transport to visit friends and family, go on nights out or for other essential travel.
While service changes have been announced, passengers are advised to plan ahead to avoid issues. Disruptions and changes can impact travel on any given day.
Here is a round up of the changes to bus and rail services over the extended bank holiday in Worcester and Malvern:
First Bus Worcestershire
Friday, March 29 – Good Friday
All services will operate to Saturday timetables, apart from the following: 417, 420, 482, 153, 363, 675, 676.
An additional exception is the 31 service which will be running to a Saturday timetable but trips between 0915-1415 are running as 31A. Click here for the timetable.
Saturday, March 30
Normal Saturday service.
Sunday, March 31 – Easter Sunday
Normal Sunday service.
Monday, April 1 – Easter Monday
All services will operate to Sunday timetables. If your service doesn’t ordinarily run on Sundays then it will not be running on this day.
West Midlands Railway
Friday, March 29 – Good Friday
No changes to services have been announced.
Saturday, March 30
No changes to services have been announced.
Sunday, March 31 -Easter Sunday
Due to early morning engineering work, until 10:20 buses will replace trains between Wolverhampton and Birmingham New Street.
Monday, April 1 – Easter Monday
No changes to services have been announced.
Also, be advised, the clocks go forward an hour at 1am on Saturday, March 31.
