The annual event introduces families to the secret lives of insects, and this year highlighted butterflies and their transformative journeys with the help of partner FlutterBy Ranch.

Bugfest continues 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, March 24, at the San Bernardino museum, 2024 Orange Tree Lane, and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 30 at the Victor Valley Museum, 11873 Apple Valley Road, Apple Valley.

Admission ranges from $5 to $10, and children under at 5 are admitted free.
