HONOLULU (KHON2) — The 2024 Hawai’i Pacific Health Women’s 10K and 5K Fun Run will be held on April 7 at Kapiolani Park. Participants will start at the park, then run or walk scenic routes past the ocean side of Diamond Head and through Kahala before returning to the park for the big finish. Dr. Jennifer King, chief of Pediatric Sports Medicine, Hawai’i Pacific Health Medical Group, joined Wake Up 2day with details.

RACE DAY SCHEDULE:
•    Sunday, April 7, 2024.
•    5 a.m. On-site registration opens. ($10 late registration fee will apply.)
•    6:30 a.m. Women’s 10K begins.
•    6:50 a.m. 5K Fun Run begins.
•    8:45 a.m. Awards ceremony.

LOCATION:
•    Kapi’olani Park, 3840 Paki Ave.

PARKING:
•    Parking is available at the Waikīkī Shell, Honolulu Zoo and around Kapi’olani Park.
•    Carpooling, biking or public transportation is strongly recommended.
•    Street closures on race day may begin as early as 4:30 a.m.

ENTRY FEES:
•    $45 – 10K & 5K virtual entry.
•    $60 – 5K student/active military entry.
•    $65 – 10K student/military entry.
•    $65 – 5K individual entry.
•    $70 – 10K individual entry.
•    $115 – 10K team (3 runners) entry.
•    Register at: HPHWomens10K.org (Online registration closes at 11:59 p.m. HST on April 3).

PACKET PICK-UP:
•    Friday, April 5, noon to 6 p.m., and Saturday, April 6, noon to 5 p.m. at Boca Hawai’i, 330 Cooke St.
•    Packets can also be picked up on race day from 5 to 6 a.m. at the Kapi’olani Regional Park Bandstand.
