Vehicle Accident near Sterling Hill Lane Left Three People Hospitalized
LAKESIDE, CA (February 19, 2024) – Early Monday morning, a solo car crash on Winter Gardens Boulevard sent at least three people to a hospital.
Authorities were called to the incident around 3:05 a.m. along Winter Gardens Blvd, just south of Sterling Hill Lane.
Upon arrival, CHP officers learned that a southbound 2011 Buick Enclave lost control and executed an unsafe turning movement for reasons unknown.
As a result, the vehicle veered off the roadway and collided with a residence located at 9060 Winter Gardens Boulevard, according to initial reports.
Officials have only identified the driver as a 39-year-old man, while the two passengers were identified as a 37-year-old and a 41-year-old man.
Responding emergency personnel transported all three patients to Sharp Memorial Hospital for significant injuries. At this time, it is unclear if any residents inside the home were injured from the crash.
