It’s A Whole New World At Hilton New York Times Square

Following

Don’t be surprised, upon opening the door to Aladdin’s Times Square Palace Suite at Hilton New York Times Square, to suddenly find yourself humming the show’s hit song, “A Whole New World.” You may be smack in the middle of one of the most bustling streets on the planet but you’ll feel like you’ve entered a peaceful and luxurious oasis far, far away from it all.

Hilton New York Times Square partnered with Disney’s Aladdin the Musical on Broadway in July 2023 to create this unique, themed suite and it’s hard to imagine a more perfect collaboration between two iconic brands. The theater is literally a one minute walk from the hotel and, when you book the suite, you also receive two complimentary Premium Orchestra tickets to the show along with a special tote bag, merchandise and drink coupons.

Aladdin the Musical is celebrating its 10th anniversary and it’s still a joy to watch – especially with an audience of wide-eyed kids experiencing their first Broadway show. There’s no better way to prolong that magic than by returning to your Aladdin-themed suite after the show.

If you’re rolling your eyes, picturing a Genie cardboard cutout watching you sleep, you’re in for a big surprise because there is nothing cheesy about the décor. In fact, it’s sophisticated and filled with rich textures and vivid colors. Inspired by the fictional Agrabah, it’s filled with lovely magic carpets, gorgeous silks and Moroccan wall sconces – all of which you’ll wish you had in your own home. You can actually make that wish on the Genie lamp that’s one of the coolest features in the suite.

Designed by Devin Sparkles Design – dressing room designer to Broadway stars like Lea Michelle and Adrianna Hicks – the suite showcases sketches of Aladdin’s costumes and scenery and is as practical as it is stylish. Sure, there’s a snake table that’s a definite conversation piece and the bathroom has been reimagined as an eye-popping Cave of Wonders but there’s also a pull-out couch in addition to a king-sized bed, two walls of floor to ceiling windows and a corner location for quiet and privacy.

And that’s not all. As Aladdin himself sings, “Hold your breath. It gets better.” The Aladdin suite also includes Genie-Tini cocktails and Magic Mocktails, a Genie wake-up call, complimentary breakfast and Aladdin coloring activities. It’s such a fun package and you’ll be treated like royalty, whether you come with family, friends or your significant other.

Maybe sparked by the success of the Aladdin suite, which was supposed to be a three month experience but is still going strong almost a year later, Hilton New York Times Square is taking the “whole new world” theme even further with a major renovation that will transform the hotel’s public spaces. They’re in the middle of it right now and the most amazing part is you would never know it. Everything is running seamlessly but the renderings show a near future where the lobby could easily pass as an art gallery and a stocked marketplace resembles an upscale New York City subway.

The end result is described as “The Gilded Age meets MoMA in the heart of Times Square” – WOW! – and I’ll be rubbing the Genie lamp and wishing to come back and experience it.
