Police have identified two victims who were found dead at their house in Tomkins Cove Tuesday afternoon.

Stony Point Police said Sean Kelly, 38, and Colleen Williston, 35, were found dead from gunshot wounds in an upstairs bedroom of 54 Rosetown Road around 1:57 p.m. Tuesday after officers responded to a call from a friend of the pair saying "his friends shot themselves."

An investigation from the Rockland County Sheriff and the Rockland County Medical Examiner's Office found that the victims died in an apparent murder-suicide. Police said Kelly may have shot Williston, then himself, killing both.

According to police, Kelly previously filed a complaint with the department early on the morning of March 16 involving Williston and the two minor children they had together. Police said it notified the county's Child Protective Services, which had an ongoing investigation at the time of the death. The children were not reported to be in the residence or custody of either victim at the time of the death.

Stony Point police said the investigation into the deaths is still ongoing and a motive has not yet been found.
