Boston Celtics at Atlanta Hawks: Injuries and likely starting lineups

Brett Davis-USA TODAY Sports

The Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks will meet for the second time this week as part of an away-and-away series for Boston that likely has them on the hunt for some revenge after dropping the prior meeting to Atlanta. Boston has listed no players as out in an improvement over their last meeting, but still has Jrue Holiday (AC joint sprain), Al Horford (left big toe sprain), Xavier Tillman, Sr. (left knee swelling), and Jaden Springer (left knee tendinopathy) as questionable.

On the other side of the court, Atlanta is still struggling with injuries. They list Trae Young (finger), Onyeka Okongwu (toe sprain), Saddiq Bey (ACL), Kobe Bufkin (toe sprain), AJ Griffin (ankle sprain), Jalen Johnson (ankle sprain), and Mouhamed Gueye (UCL sprain) as out. They also list Dejounte Murray (back soreness) as questionable.

Let’s take a look at the potential starting lineups.

Probable starting lineups

  • Jayson Tatum
  • Sam Hauser
  • Kristaps Porzingis

Atlanta

  • Dejounte Murray
