Lab in Downtown Brooklyn supports tech industry in New York City
BROOKLYN, N.Y. (PIX11) — New York is known as the center of many industries, from finance to entertainment. Being a technology hub has always been one of the promises of city leaders.

Urban Future Lab in Downtown Brooklyn has been taking up the challenge for more than a decade.
It’s part of the NYU Tandon School of Engineering.
Students work in classrooms and hands-on laboratories and workshops. It also supports technology companies in the city and region.
Climate change is one of the lab’s main research and development focuses.
Air Company is based at the lab and in Bushwick, Brooklyn. They remove carbon from the air to produce products.
