A new $21 million, 115-room SpringHill Suites by Marriott hotel is coming to Leeds on Rex Lake Road.

Birmingham-based Jackson Hospitality Services will build the hotel next to the existing Hampton Inn in Leeds, which Jackson also owns.

Construction could begin this summer.

“We are excited to bring the SpringHill Suites brand to the vibrant city of Leeds,” Jackson Hospitality Services President Cory Jackson said. “This new hotel will offer guests a convenient and stylish option for their stay, whether they are visiting for business, leisure, or to explore the local attractions.”

The SpringHill Suites Leeds will have a complimentary breakfast buffet, outdoor patio, lounge, fitness center, business center and on-site laundry services.

Leeds Mayor David Miller said the hotel is a “significant development for the City of Leeds.”

“This new hotel will not only create jobs and boost our economy, but it will also provide much-needed lodging options for visitors and travelers,” Miller said. “We are thrilled to welcome Jackson Hospitality Services to our community and look forward to the opening of this new hotel.”
