The Texas Tech baseball team's non-conference home game Tuesday against Stephen F. Austin has been moved to 12:35 p.m., six hours earlier than originally scheduled.

Tech made the announcement Monday, citing potential rain Tuesday night. The National Weather Service forecast for Tuesday in Lubbock calls for a 30- to 50-percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly between 7 p.m. and 1 a.m.

Tech (17-7) is coming off two victories in a three-game Big 12 series against Brigham Young. Stephen F. Austin (3-22) has lost 21 games in a row. Texas-Arlington, playing at home, swept a three-game Western Athletic Conference series from SFA over the weekend.

Tech officials said Tuesday's "Bark in the Park" promotion will go on as planned.

Tuesday's game is the last in a five-game homestand for Tech. The Red Raiders go to Orlando for a Big 12 series against Central Florida (15-6, 4-5) at 5 p.m. CDT Thursday, 5 p.m. Friday and noon Saturday.
