MOBERLY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Water has been shut off for areas around an intersection in Moberly in order to make emergency repairs to a water main, according to a Friday press release from the City of Moberly Public Utilities.

A boil advisory was announced by the department after it shut off water to the 900 block of Charles Street and the 800 and 900 blocks of Sinnock Avenue.

Moberly Public Utilities stated that water service will be restored once repairs are made and the advisory would remain in effect for 48 hours. The release did not state how long that outage would last.
