WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A juvenile was arrested in El Dorado on Thursday after allegedly firing shots into a group.

The El Dorado Police Department says at 3:38 p.m., officers went to the 600 block of Norris Drive for the report of a disturbance.

When officers arrived, nine juveniles were at the location. An investigation found a fight between multiple juveniles had taken place, during which one of the juveniles pulled a handgun and shot two rounds into the immediate area of the other juveniles.

The juvenile who shot the gun was taken into custody on suspicion of nine counts of aggravated endangerment of a child. An investigation is ongoing.
