TULLAHOMA, Tenn. (WKRN) — The body of a missing Tullahoma man has been discovered by the Tullahoma Police Department (TPD), authorities confirmed Monday.

TPD said they discovered the body of Dillon Peluso in a “wooded area” on North College Street on Sunday, March. 17.

Peluso was last seen alive on Thursday, March 7, when an “incident” occurred at a nearby apartment complex that prompted a “disturbance call,” according to officials. At the time of his disappearance, TPD said he may have needed “medical attention.”

Police said they have requested an autopsy to determine Peluso’s cause of death. At present, authorities have made no determination as to how Peluso died.

“The Tullahoma Police Department extends its deepest condolences to the family and friends of Mr. Peluso during this difficult time,” the department said in a release.

No further details about the incident were immediately released.
