RICHMOND, Va. (WRIC) — April’s Bon Secours’ Health Matters segment focuses on St. Mary’s Hospital being the first hospital in Virginia to offer a new FDA-approved treatment option for atrial fibrillation.

The Pulsed Field Ablation system uses pulsed electrical fields instead of thermal ablation and safely treats both paroxysmal and persistent atrial fibrillation.

Host, Amie Carter, interviews Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology, An Bui, MD, with Bon Secours and discusses the benefits of this brand-new procedure.
