24-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Fatal Accident near Rainbow Bridge Road

HESPERIA, CA (September 9, 2022) – Sunday morning, a fatal motorcycle crash on Highway 138 left one rider dead.

The incident happened around 9:12 a.m., just west of Rainbow Bridge Road on August 28th.

Investigators say the collision involved a white 2014 BMW S1000RR motorcycle, a white 2022 Toyota Camry, and a Honda motorcycle.

Per reports, the Camry was heading east while the BMW and the Honda were heading west. For reasons currently unknown, the BMW motorcycle collided head-on with the Camry.

The impact of the collision left the BMW motorcyclist with serious injuries. Medical personnel arrived and pronounced the rider dead at the scene.

Medics then transported the Honda rider to Loma Linda University Medical Center via airlift for treatment of critical injuries. The driver of the Camry did not suffer any injuries.

At this time, an active investigation to determine further details is still underway.
