Two Bedford Firefighters receive awards for life-saving bravery

BEDFORD- The Bedford Fire Department was in full force last night at the Bedford Board of Works meeting at Stonegate Arts and Education Center. The department had several topics of conversation on the agenda, but first and foremost were a pair of awards for two of Bedford’s finest. Sergeant Isaac Crane and Firefighter First Class Levi Clark were presented the Lifesaving Award by Chief Luke Pinnick for actions on duty that saved the life of a man involved in a structure fire.

After some words from Mayor Craig, the Firefighters received a standing ovation

Ethan Grissom’s permanent status with the department was approved in other fire department businesses. Congratulations, third-class Firefighter Grissom.

Lieutenant Brady Rhoda requested a resignation from the department to pursue his firefighting career in Monroe County, which was approved.
