While the offense has been the focal point, the defense has matched the pace with four games in which they yielded one goal. Chagrin Falls comes to Hunting Valley in a rematch of a classic from a season ago in a Division II regional final. … Chagrin Falls had a challenging week. The Tigers beat crosstown rival Kenston (12-3) but dropped a pair of one-goal games against Jackson (10-9) and CVCA (13-12), with the latter in overtime. The road doesn’t get any easier for the Tigers with trips to University and St. Francis on tap. … Kenston had the pair of losses to University and Chagrin Falls but recovered for a WRC victory against Chardon to set up a conference title game with Riverside on the horizon. The Bombers have three straight at home due up, with Shaker Heights and Green. … Gilmour has won its last two after a one-goal loss to Shaker Heights. The Lancers next challenges are on the road to Green and home against Walsh Jesuit.
