Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department to host open house with activities, tour

FAIRHOPE, Ala. (WKRG) — The Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department is inviting people to experience life as a firefighter through their open house event.

According to a Facebook post from the Fairhope Police Department, the Fairhope Volunteer Fire Department’s Open House is set from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 6.

OPEN HOUSE LOCATION:

During the event, attendees can explore interactive demonstrations, go on a station tour, spray the firehose, and even try on gear. The release states that other activities such as face painting, goodies from the grill, and giveaways will be included in the event.

Fairhope Police Department’s Officer Bunky will also be at the event with a D.A.R.E vehicle, according to the post.
