Adapted for the screen by Quinn Shephard, who also executive produces alongside Samir Mehta, the show dives into the real-life murder of Canadian teen Reena Virk in 1997.
The series stars Riley Keough as Rebecca and Lily Gladstone as police officer Cam Bentland.
Throughout the series, the factors behind Virk’s murder come to light, including rampant bullying among teen girls and racism.
The synopsis teases, “… the series takes us into the hidden world of the young girls accused of the murder — revealing startling insights about the unlikely killer.
