SANTA FE, N.M. (KRQE) – Santa Fe police said they arrested two men connected to a shooting Sunday evening in the 900 block of Verdinal Lane.

Officers responded to the area for reports of a large fight and shots being fired around 7:21 p.m. near Agua Fria and Avenida Cristobal Colon.

Police found one gunshot victim on the scene; he was transported to University of New Mexico Hospital in critical condition. A female victim was also found on scene; police believe she was struck by a vehicle. The female victim was taken to a local hospital in critical condition.

Police said a vehicle involved in the incident crashed into a home in the area striking a gas line. Two men were arrested on April 1, 2024, for the incident.

Steven Sena, 32, of Albuquerque, was arrested for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and negligent use of a firearm. Santiago Prada, 34, of Santa Fe, was charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and shooting at a dwelling or occupied building.

Authorities are still investigating.
