CROWN POINT, Ind. — A husband and a wife were identified Tuesday after Crown Point authorities believe he shot and killed her then turned the gun on himself.
Officers were dispatched just after 6:20 p.m. to the 1300 block of Glenn Drive on the report of a death investigation.
A man and a woman were found dead and authorities believe it to be a murder-suicide.
On Tuesday, the wife was identified as Sharon Bell, 66, and the husband was identified as Benny Bell, 70. Her death was ruled a homicide and his was a suicide.
The shooting took place inside the residence, according to the coroner’s office.
The autopsies were performed on Monday.
