Patricia A. Malo OBITUARY

Patricia A. Malo, 88, of Ellington, CT, and formerly of Stafford, CT, wife of the late Joseph H. Malo, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024 at The Ivy. She was born in Stafford, CT, daughter of the late Omer and Gertrude (Fawcett) Foucher. Pat had worked as a clerk at the Big Y in Stafford for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Edward Church, and member of the St. Edward Ladies Guild and the Stafford Senior Center. Since moving to The Ivy, Pat earned the nickname “Stich” from sewing and mending resident’s garments. She also enjoyed playing cards daily with her friends. Pat is survived by her four children, Michael Malo and his wife Beverly of Stafford Springs, CT, Lynn Johnson and her husband Clelland of Holland, MA, Diane Clark and her husband Daniel of Stafford Springs, CT, and Amy Nichols and her husband Ned of Branford, CT; nine grandchildren, Jared Murphy, Daniel Murphy, Matthew Clark, Aryanne Ward, Emily Clark, Delaney Johnson, Nolan Nichols, Grayson Nichols, and Spencer Nichols; six great grandchildren, McKayla, Sam, Jameson, Aleyna, Chloe, and Kaiden; brother, Robert Foucher and his wife Candace; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours are on Monday, March 18, 2024 from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
