Julie M. Davis OBITUARY

Julie M Davis, 69, of Hayward, CA, died on Jan. 7, 2024 at home. Julie was born on April 4, 1954 in Austin, MN to Erling & Harriet Hanson. She moved to CA in 1974 and married Glen Davis in 1980. Graduated from Austin High School in Austin, MN in 1972 and Humboldt Institute of Traffic & Transportation Management in 1973. Julie was a travel agent for 35 years and a Mobile Signing Agent for 5 years. She was diagnosed with a blood disorder in 2001 and was also diagnosed with dementia in 2015 which she fought until her death. She is preceded by her parents and middle brother Lynn Hanson. She is survived by her brothers Steve and Craig Hanson of Sheridan, WY, Glen Davis her husband, son Matthew, niece Laura Hanson, nephew Eric Hanson and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins and loved by many friends. There will be a Celebration of Life on May 18, 2024, at 10:30 AM at Faith Lutheran Church, 20080 Redwood Rd., Castro Valley, CA. Then the Interment will be at Chapel of the Chimes, Hayward, CA on May 21st, at 1:00PM.
