It's time to make your choice for the Austin-area boys high school athlete of the week for March 25-30. Bowie baseball player Cole Miller was voted the top boys athlete for March 18-23.

This week's list of five nominees is made up of three baseball players and a pair of soccer players:

High School Athlete of the Week polls

Yandel Andrade, Vandegrift soccer

Andrade scored three goals to lead the Vipers past San Antonio Brandeis 4-1 in a Class 6A area-round playoff game on March 30. 

Emmanuel Castelan, Pflugerville soccer

Castelan recorded a hat trick in the Panthers’ 7-0 win over Killeen Shoemaker in a Class 5A area-round playoff game on March 28.

Adriano Fernandez, Hays baseball

Over a two-game sweep of Glenn last week, Fernandez went 5-for-7 with two triples, a double and seven RBIs.

Camden Malott, Hendrickson baseball

Malott pitched a complete-game shutout with six strikeouts and also went 2-for-3 with four RBIs in a 10-0 win over Pflugerville on March 26. 

Oscar Salazar, Rouse baseball

Salazar went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBIs and also pitched a one-hit shutout with nine strikeouts to lead the Raiders past Lehman 10-0 on March 28.
