JA Solar has shipped its cutting-edge DeepBlue 4.0 Pro n-type series modules to a 48MW project in Bangladesh contracted by the Norinco International Corporation, representing the country’s first foray into large scale n-type developments.

The project will exclusively deploy the company’s DeepBlue 4.0 Pro product, given its recognized reliability to perform well even under harsh climatic conditions, including the high temperatures and heavy rainfall for which Bangladesh’s extensive monsoon seasons are well known.

The project marks the first collaboration between JA Solar and Norinco International, although the Chinese manufacturer has been active in the Bangladeshi market for some time, previously exclusively supplying all modules for both the country’s inaugural large-scale PV power station and its second-largest plant.

Moving forward, the company plans further collaboration across South Asia to drive the role of PV in the region’s transition to green energy.
