Two-time Grammy Award-winning alternative rock band The Smashing Pumpkins has added a dozen new concert dates to their 2024 North American tour, including shows in St. Louis and Kansas City.

The North American tour kicks off on July 29 in Washington, D.C., at Nationals Park and wraps on September 28 at Petco Park in San Diego.

Led by frontman Billy Corgan, the band will perform at the Starlight Theatre in Kansas City on August 16 and at the Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre in the St. Louis region on August 21.

Tickets for these and other newly-added concert dates will go on sale Tuesday, April 2, at 10 a.m. as part of an artist presale. The general on-sale begins at 10 a.m. on Friday, April 5. Tickets can be purchased online at SmashingPumpkins.com/tour.

Prior to the North American tour, the band will embark on a run of shows in Europe beginning June 7 in Birmingham, England, culminating with a July 16 concert in Athens, Greece.

The Smashing Pumpkins have sold over 30 million albums worldwide since forming more than 35 years ago.

In 2003, Rolling Stone magazine named two of the band’s albums, “Siamese Dream” (1993) and “Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness” (1995), among its 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.

The Smashing Pumpkins are currently in the studio working on a new album slated for release later this year.
