The Walmart supercenter in Flowood is temporarily closed Tuesday morning due to a power outage, corporate officials said.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances we are temporarily closed. We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused and we will keep you updated on when we will reopen," according to a Tuesday post on the Flowood Walmart Facebook page.

"The closure was due to power outage from the weather and raining and there should be some updates in a few hours but as of now we do not have any updates." said Marvin Finely, Walmart corporate customer service representative.

Walmart apologized for any inconvenience.
