ATHENS, WV (WVNS) – Students at Concord University had the opportunity to showcase their knowledge to professors and fellow students. Concord University’s Department of Social Sciences hosted an annual CU Research Festival.

Faculty from all departments and programs were encouraged to engage their students with questions. Students had the option for independent research, class projects, lab projects, term papers and more.

Assistant Professor Lonnie Bowe say students had many options for their research projects.

“Students have the opportunity to present work they’ve done in classes or independently,” said Bowe.

Keynote speaker, Dr. Erik Augustson gave a presentation. The presentations were followed by a student poster session.
