Susan E. Hoff OBITUARY

Susan E. (Mohn) Hoff, 77, of Fleetwood, passed away on Friday, March 1, 2024, in Blandon, PA. Born January 6, 1947, in West Reading, Susan was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Virginia (Andrus) Mohn. Susan taught for 37 years in the Reading School District, having spent most of her time teaching second grade at Riverside Elementary School. She was a graduate of Reading High School and received her Bachelor of Education degree from Kutztown University. Susan last attended North Star United Methodist Church. She was a crafter and an artist. Susan enjoyed painting at the Kutztown Folk Festival and gardening. Most of all, she enjoyed traveling and sharing the stories of her many trips. Susan is survived by her two daughters, Heidi R. Hoff, Blandon, and Meghann K. (Hoff) Scheetz, wife of Adam R. Scheetz, Shillington, and by her grandchildren, McKenna S. (Tinsman) Berryman, wife of Dylan Berryman, Blandon, Spencer J. Tinsman, Trexlertown, Timothy J. Porr, Fleetwood, Lila M. Scheetz, Shillington, and Kate N. Scheetz, Shillington. Along with her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her sister, Polly King. Memorial Services for Susan will be held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, at 11:00 am at Walbert Funeral Home & Crematory, 14390 Kutztown Rd, Fleetwood. A visitation will be held Saturday from 10:00 am until time of services at the funeral home. Susan loved animals and would appreciate donations, in lieu of flowers, be made to The Sanctuary at Haafsville, 901 Nestle Way, Breinigsville, PA 18031.
