Vote for the Austin-area girls high school athlete of the week

It's time to make your choice for the Covert Chevrolet Bastrop Austin-Area Girls Athlete of the Week for March 25-30. Round Rock softball player Glo Torres was voted the top girls athlete of the week for March 18-23.

This week's list includes three soccer players and two softball players:

High School Athlete of the Week polls

Alicia Aguinaga, Leander soccer

Aguinaga scored a goal and added two assists as Leander advanced to the Class 6A regional quarterfinals by beating Medina Valley 6-0.

Kaiya Bullock, Round Rock soccer

Bullock scored both goals to lead the District 25-6A champion Dragons into the regional quarterfinals with a 2-1 area-round win over San Antonio Reagan.

Valeria Feeney, Bowie softball

Feeney had two hits as the Bulldogs beat Del Valle 5-2 on Tuesday, then collected three more hits in a 12-2, six-inning win over Anderson on Thursday.

Addie Sierra, San Marcos softball

Sierra led the Rattlers to a pair of wins over state-ranked teams, pitching a complete-game four-hitter with 12 strikeouts in a 4-1 win over San Antonio East Central, then came back two nights later to strike out nine and drive in the game-winning RBI in the bottom of the seventh inning in a 5-4 win over Schertz Clemens.

Vienna Tran, Cedar Park soccer

Tran had a goal and an assist as Cedar Park beat Alamo Heights 2-1, handing the Mules their first loss of the season.
