One Pronounced Dead after Big-Rig Collision near Hubbart Street

SAN FERNANDO, CA (August 21, 2023) – Early Thursday morning, one victim was killed in a semi-truck accident on 210 Freeway.

The incident occurred around 3:58 a.m., on the westbound lanes of the freeway near Hubbard Street.

For reasons under investigation, the driver of a vehicle struck the back of a semi-truck. Due to the extent of injuries sustained, medics pronounced one victim dead at the scene.

At this time, authorities have not yet identified the deceased victim.

Emergency crews closed off the surrounding area for a brief time during cleanup and preliminary duties.
