Tom Gruzo OBITUARY

Born in Warsaw Poland on December 3, 1957, Tom Gruzo passed away peacefully in his home on February 11, 2024. He is survived by his wife Brenda, daughter Jessica and sister Hania.He immigrated to the US as a student in 1980, got married, and created his life as a jazz musician. Tom’s vinyl record Say When was well received. One of the compositions, Location 1915 referred to this house in Redondo Beach where he spent the first years of his married life with Brenda.Tom had two big loves: his daughter Jessica and jazz music. His sense of humor and quick wit could brighten any room with laughter. Tom loved being outdoors and greatly enjoyed swimming, cycling, and tennis.Most of his American life he spent living in Hermosa Beach, California, where he died.He will be missed by many and we know that now he is in a much better place of eternal peace with God.
