Car Collision in Amador County Left Seven People Injured

WILLOW CREEK, CA (February 5, 2024) – Tuesday evening, seven people sustained injuries following a two-vehicle collision on Highway 16.

Emergency personnel responded to reports of the collision around 8:38 p.m. along Highway 16 in the city of Willow Creek.

Upon arrival, the units discovered six individuals suffering from minor injuries and one person with moderate injuries. Among the injured individuals was a juvenile, as reported by the police.

At this time, the circumstances leading up to the collision remain unclear. The identities of the people involved in the incident have not been disclosed.

Around 9:22 p.m., officials reopened the highway with assistance from traffic control.
