Kilowatt Labs was hit with a product liability lawsuit on April 11 in California Superior Court for Los Angeles County. The court action, brought by Cozen O'Connor on behalf of Redcar Properties, contends that the defendant's defective solar energy storage system caused a fire on the plaintiff's property. Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendant. The case is Redcar Properties Ltd v. Kilowatt Labs, Inc.
