From Japanese street food to Mediterranean cuisine, tacos to pizza, Longmont’s forthcoming Parkway Food Hall will have no shortage of meal offerings when it opens next month.

Dallas-based National Food Hall Solutions, the project’s operating partner, has announced that Parkway Food Hall will have its grand opening on Memorial Day weekend in Longmont’s Parkway Promenade.

The 16,000-square-foot food hall located at 700 Ken Pratt Blvd. will include several vendors including Baa Hachi, a Japanese street food concept offering ramen, pork belly bao buns, miso glazed salmon bowls and more. H3SH3R (Hesher BBQ), known for its whole hog barbecue catering service and food truck, will offer smoked meats, barbecue sandwiches, white cheddar mac and cheese and other items at the food hall.

Known for its thin-crust, Neapolitan-style pizzas, Pie Dog will also operate out of Parkway Food Hall, along with Spice Fusion, which blends Indian and Thai cuisines.

“This is going to be a well-received food hall. The Longmont community and surrounding areas have been very, very active in their support, which we’re very happy with,” Pat Garza, National Food Hall Solutions CEO, said Thursday. “We’re going to have an arcade in there too. So, it’s going to be a very family-friendly food hall.”

Cleaver & Co. will serve burgers, chicken sandwiches, fries and shakes at the food hall while Shawarma Shack plans on selling Mediterranean dishes such as traditional shawarma wraps, bowls, hummus, falafel and more.

The award-winning food truck Chile con Quesadilla will also have a space in Parkway Food Hall where it will serve tacos, green chile and more.

One more food concept and three retail spaces are slated to be announced closer to Parkway Food Hall’s grand opening.

“Parkway Food Hall is bringing in the type of talented chefs that Longmont deserves,” Lisa Balcom, owner of Baa Hachi and Pie Dog, said in a news release.

A job fair will be hosted at the food hall on April 22 and 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. to hire bartenders, bussers, dishwashers, barbacks, servers and other positions.

The location was previously home to an Alfalfa’s Market.

The food hall will also have a bar, indoor and outdoor seating, a patio and event space. It will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

“I see food halls continuing to grow,” Garza said. “They’re a great, great way to bring families together.”
