Winona State Spoils UMD Baseball’s Return to Bulldog Park

UMD (16-25) will look to bounce back Saturday at Minnesota Crookston.

DULUTH, Minn.- The UMD baseball team played their first home games at Bulldog Park since May of 2021 on Wednesday.

Sadly, Winona State would hand UMD two losses in their return.

In game one, the Bulldogs would only score once thanks to a passed ball in the bottom of the 3rd. That would be their only run as they fell 7 to 1.

In game two, it would take extra innings between the two teams. But, once again it goes the Warriors way 10 to 9 in 11 innings.
