Minnesota reported four more COVID-19 deaths Friday and 115 new infections were recorded by the state Department of Health.

The latest fatalities included residents in their 50s and 80s with three residing in private homes and one in assisted living. One was a resident of Hennepin County in the metro, the others were from Redwood,  St. Louis and Todd counties.

The death toll in Minnesota is 7,531 since the pandemic began with 4,460 deaths in long-term care facilities.

There have been 604,291 infections diagnosed in Minnesota and 595,583 of those who tested positive have recovered enough they no longer need to be isolated. The state reported Friday that there were 132 patients being treated for the coronavirus in Minnesota hospitals, including 41 of those in intensive care units.

Minnesota has administered more than 5.5 million doses of vaccine. There are 3 million residents who have gotten at least one dose and 2.8 who have completed their vaccine series.
