At peace October 19, 2021 at age 93. Beloved husband of the late Betty (nee Kout). Loving father of Lori (Grant) Steinmann, Jon (Shari), and Carol (Jon) Franke. Proud grandfather of Savannah, Allison (Zachary), Adam (Mikaela), Pearl, Reece, and Reed. Dear brother of the late Lawrence (Mildred), the late Carl (the late Stana), and the late Vera (Reiny) Kipp. Brother-in-law of Robert Kout. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was a retiree of the Milwaukee Railroad and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a true athlete. He loved golfing and was a member of the American Cribbage Congress. He was an avid bowler and was so proud of his 300 game ring that he received from the Bowling Congress. Most of all, he would always look forward to the family's annual vacation in Northern WI. A funeral service will be held Saturday, October 30th at 11:30 AM at Schaff Funeral Home. Visitation 9:30 AM until time of service. Interment Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to a charity of your choice appreciated.
